Biography
Leah L. Dittmer was born in Toronto, raised in NY, and has traveled through Europe, the former Soviet Union, and Venezuela. Holding a BA in International Relations and Art History, she is
experienced in managing diverse cultural environments, and is also TESOL Certified honing her English teaching skills.
Currently, she resides in Neulengbach, where she spends much of her time exploring the outdoors with her three children. As a student of life she is always learning and has worked in several fields from design in NYC to science education in Florida where she organized STEM kits for schools teaming with youth organizations, such as The Girl Scouts of America. She also owned a small gallery in Vienna specializing in Amazon art with her late husband which she still maintains as an online non-for profit, in his memory.
Focused on combining her passion for science, culture and art with her experience with teaching ESL, she offers enriched programs here in Austria. By sharing her love of life through her classes, she hopes to plant seeds of awareness that will inspire appreciation of the beauty of the natural world, a sense of global community and value for diversity on this planet.
